I have been the pastor of St. Paul’s Liberty Lutheran Church since 2013. It is a delight to serve a congregation that has families whom trace back to it’s beginnings, yet warmly welcome, those like me, who have no family connections to the church.
I have a passion for Intergenerational ministry and bringing the gospel into our everyday lives. Before moving to the Madison area I served as a pastor in Mitchell South Dakota and developed a passion for ministry as the Director of Youth and Family Ministry in Colorado.
My husband’s family lives around this area. I grew up in Boulder, Colorado, attended college at St. Olaf (Northfield, Minnesota), went to graduate school in Chicago, Illinois (Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago), spent a year in Fairbanks, Alaska and Victoria, Texas (internship for graduate school) and now live in Deerfield.
I am married to Nick and have three daughters, Pennelope, Adelaide and Cecelia. In my free time I enjoy exploring the area with my family, cooking and jumping on my bicycle.
